In 273 of Panda’s locations, their current vendor contract was expiring. The clock was running out on support for 400 legacy in-store screens and media players. They looked to us for updated technology, as well as content management and site support. Our answer – replacement of the aging PCs that powered their educational “cultural boards” presenting the Panda story and values, along with total system support.
In addition to fact-finding visits to key Panda locations by the PTG team, we created a detailed Scope of Work and surveyed general managers at all sites in the project. By taking in feedback on the status of their media systems, plus our own analysis, we were able to present a hardware replacement, content delivery and network maintenance agreement that made Panda smile.
In just over eight weeks, our certified installation techs fanned out across the country to replace the outdated gear in all 273 locations. PTG’s IT team worked closely with Panda to test and verify connectivity to ensure the delivery of time-sensitive content updates. Today, our friends at Panda Express have up-to-date equipment (and rock-solid content) helping to welcome and serve their customers.
