PURPOSE

The AV Engineer is responsible for the generation of all engineering documentation; proposal drawings, shop drawings, bills of material and scope of work. Completing engineering tasks as required while maintaining schedules and deadlines.  Engineer may require interaction with the client via site visits or phone.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Create full BOM based on Sales Team opportunity requests
  • Create and deliver demonstrations, presentations, prototypes, POC/POV and map features/benefits of client's products to prospects specific needs
  • Develop engineered solutions that map customer business requirements
  • Generate technical scopes of work (SOW) and detailed design narratives for engineered solutions
  • Analyze blueprints, construction drawings, and technical/functional design specifications to prepare compliant engineered solutions
  • Research emerging technologies in support of A/V solutions
  • Interface with product and distribution partners to obtain systems, device, and equipment pricing during engineering process
  • Maintain quality assurance by following organization standards
  • Willing to participate in advanced industry trainings to obtain certifications
  • Perform internal trainings on various AV technologies
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associate or Bachelor Degree or equivalent work/related experience
  • Advanced CAD knowledge
  • Effective communicator
  • Developed and demonstrated teamwork skills
  • Strategic thinking
  • Problem analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to increase productivity and continuously improve methods, approaches, and departmental contribution
  • Commitment to continuous learning

  • Expert problem-solving skills and ability to methodically understand and resolve issues
  • Extensive knowledge of signal flow for audio, video, control, and networking
  • Extensive knowledge of 70 Volt audio systems
  • Extensive knowledge of Video Distribution, HDBaseT and Video over IP
  • Experience in construction & onsite installation
  • High attention to detail
  • Preferred industry certifications:
    • CTS, CTS-D or I
    • Crestron Certified Programmer
    • Crestron DM Certified Engineer
    • Extron CCS, or CPC and XPT SDE

Job Title:

Project Coordinator, PC

PURPOSE

The Project Coordinator supports the organization's project management team including processing paperwork and system tasks, working with Purchasing and other departments to ensure product availability, shipping and tracking equipment, generating reports related to project activities and revenue data. The Project Coordinator is expected to consistently provide excellent customer service to accounts, as well as represent client needs and goals within the organization to ensure quality.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Takes direction from Project Managers to enter, process and maintain sales orders, ship equipment, create change orders, process and track RMAs etc.

  • Log requests from PM including client and technician emails and phone calls to build project narrative

  • Submit reports and all other required paperwork as directed in an accurate and timely manner

  • Work with accounting to process technician paperwork

  • Tracking of day to day shipments to and from field operations/installers

  • Assist the team in any other capacity as deemed necessary

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Extremely detail oriented

  • Computer experience (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator

  • High level of initiative and work well in a team environment

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task and handle stressful situations/deadline pressures

  • Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction

Account Manager

PURPOSE

The Account Manager is the liaison between customers and cross-functional internal teams. This position has the opportunity for advancement into National Business Development.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to your designated accounts

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships

  • Create quotes and pricing proposals from customer submitted requests

  • Manage customer construction schedules to submit proposals and pricing based on the schedule

  • Work with sales team to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solution proposals according to customer needs and objectives

  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to exceed sales quotas

  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)

  • Prepare reports on account status

  • Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate’s Degree or related experience

  • Detail oriented

  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Account Coordinator or other relevant experience

  • Demonstrable ability to communicate effectively on all levels

  • Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office

  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail

  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
